Excellence

Many of our members join Chi Psi in the fall quarter of their freshman year. We have consistently found that academic success in this first quarter of college is very determinative of success for the entire college career. Therefore, we require a minimum GPA of 2.8 for initiation into Chi Psi. We rigorously enforce this requirement and will delay a member’s initiation until he has raised his GPA to 2.8. |

We are the only fraternity that has been in the top 10 GPA every single quarter for the last ten years and we are consistently in the top 5 GPA of all fraternities on campus. Our GPA always exceeds the All-Fraternity and the All-Men’s average GPA.

Excellence

We do not have mandatory study tables during pledge quarter. Our academic success comes from the individual members’ self-motivation and personal balance. However, seniors, big brothers, and the scholarship chairman are always ready to bring academic resources and help to a Chi Psi who might be struggling academically. Our member’s majors cover a wide range of disciplines including finance, accounting, chemical engineering, pre-medicine, design, and history ensuring that there will always be someone to assist with studying and picking classes. |
