During the 1998-1999 school year, Chi Psi became the first fraternity in the history of the University of Washington to petition for and earn its own seat on the ASUW Student Senate.

It is our belief that we can better represent ourselves in the ASUW by having a separate voice from the Interfraternity Council. Since then, the majority of the campus’ fraternities and sororities have followed suit and earned their own seat on the senate.

It is through advancements like this that Chi Psi proves over and over that its members are truly community and campus leaders, and as such, we are always looking for ways to move forward.
