Best of the Best
Rush - Rush Values

Chi Psi enjoys a membership of around sixty making it neither too large nor too small. Comparably it is a medium sized Fraternity in the UW Greek system. We focus on quality rather than quantity and strongly believe that 60 members is the ideal number for every member to develop strong life-long friendships across multiple pledge classes.

Furthermore, by focusing on an average pledge class size of 18 to 20, we can engage in a selective rush and never have to compromise for numbers. We have built upon our dedication to quality by winning the Thayer Trophy – awarded annually to the best chapter of Chi Psi – 10 times in the last 22 years, having been finalists in all 22 years.

Quality, not quantity is a national tradition of Chi Psi that dates back to our founding in 1841. Over the years we have deliberately focused on only having a small number of chapters at the best schools. Today, Chi Psi has 30 chapters at such prestigious universities as the University of Washington, University of Michigan, University of North Carolina, Duke, Cornell, University of California-Berkeley, and others.

When you join Chi Psi at the University of Washington you are truly joining the best of the best.
